Landowners and Communities

Landowners

Auxo Energy is proud to work with landowners and landowner families who have been stewards of their ground for many years often several generations. Landowners form one of the most important pillars of a wind energy project.

Landowners lease their land to be used for the wind energy project while retaining ownership of their land and while continuing the existing land use on the vast majority of the land. During the option period, the current use of the land continues unchanged. During the one-time construction period the project facilities, roads, foundation are constructed, cables are laid, and the wind turbine equipment is installed. During the operations period, the wind power plant generates clean and cost-effective energy and the wind turbines are serviced and maintained, at the same time landowner maintains ownership of the land, and continue to use the vast majority of it. The wind turbine equipment and related project facilities only take up a few percent of the land.

By participating in a wind energy project the landowner adds a long term income source, clean renewable energy is being produced and many local benefits are created.

Communities

Auxo Energy is also excited to work with communities that host wind power projects. Investments in wind power projects equal economic growth opportunities locally and regionally.

Jobs are created during the construction of the projects and delivery of the wind turbine equipment, both as direct construction jobs and as indirect jobs from deliveries of services and goods to the construction project. In addition, the on-going service and maintenance of the wind power plant create jobs for skilled wind turbine technicians and project management and operations. Likewise, some of the supply of parts and materials often is provided by local and regional companies which create economic opportunities.

In addition, a wind power project generates clean cost-effective energy without any emissions and without depleting scarce water resources.
